On this page you can view the details and locations
of titles preserved as well as locations of reading equipment
provided by the Project.
Details of the titles preserved by NEWSPLAN 2000 can be viewed
in the following reports. You can view the Reports as a webpage
or download in MS Excel format.
Each title filmed has a two-part unique Project code which
consists of two elements: a regional part and a numerical
part, e.g. NW-009, LSE-001, S-007. Both sets of reports contain
these codes for each title so they can be cross-referenced.
TITLE SUMMARY REPORTS (A-Z)
These reports contain summary information about each of the
1,326 titles preserved. This information includes for
each title:
- Family Title
- Date of Run Filmed
- Location of Film (original set)
- Project Title Code
- Number of Reels in Run
REEL INFORMATION REPORTS
These reports contain detailed information about each of
the 30,476 reels filmed. This information includes
for each reel:
- Project Title Code
- Title
- Dates on Reel
- Project Reel Number
- Frame Count
- Date Of Filming
NEWSPLAN 2000 delivered 309 microfilm readers and 156 reader-printers
to public libraries and archives all across the UK free of
charge.
